Chicago Blackhawks
The Daily: DeBrincat Officially to Detroit–did the Blackhawks Win?
Could it be that the Chicago Blackhawks did better in their version of the Alex DeBrincat trade? Go back a year and there are some aggravated Blackhawks fans about general manager Kyle Davidson not getting enough.
What a difference a year makes. CHN looked into both deals and measured out what both teams received in both deals. The Red Wings on the surface appear to have made out like bandits–from the term and cost right down to what they gave up.
Time will tell if they truly won big but another 40-goal campaign from DeBrincat after only 27 with Ottawa and boy oh boy, is Pierre Dorion going to hear it from the fanbase.

The Blackhawks Twitter where you can see the Draft behind the scenes and also Davidson’s reactions as Oliver Moore falls further right on down to the end of development camp. It’s worth the watch and a fun inside look at what it looks like outside of the draft.
