Blackhawks Daily: Cap Friendly Gone; Tarasenko Adds Depth For Detroit
The day we all knew about finally came, Blackhawks fans. CapFriendly.com is gone. We knew this was coming once free agency cooled down but it is still surreal to see such an important website gone.
That is going to make it much more difficult for fans, media, and front offices to find good information on salaries for players and personnel around the league. It also had a ton of other great tools to help with NHL-related information.
Now, the focus has shifted to PuckPedia.com. It will take some getting used to but it seems like a great website that will eventually take over as the top site for this type of information (until another NHL team buys it out one day).
There is plenty of time now before the next season gets going to make Puck Pedia the new go-to. By this time next year, everybody will be used to the change.
For now, it is fair to give the great people at Cap Friendly their proper goodbye and congratulations on all the success. An NHL team didn’t want to buy it for no reason. It was the best site and well deserving of all the praise it is getting.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Blackhawks and other NHL teams around the league are focusing on their work so far this summer and getting it ready for what is to come when training camp rolls around.
Chicago Blackhawks

Smart shopping by Kyle Davidson boosts the blue line both now and later for Chicago.
Connor Bedard was the offensive catalyst of the Chicago Blackhawks who struggled to score.
Oliver Moore is having a good summer. He is ready to force the Chicago Blackhawks to give him an ELC after a good 2024-25 with Minnesota.
