Blackhawks Daily: Nazar and Kane Skating Together; Swayman Worry?

Published

on

It is very fair to be excited about the young group of Chicago Blackhawks prospects. Some of them are already at the NHL level, some are in the minor leagues, some are playing major juniors, and some are in college.

Either way, they are all trying to develop into impact NHL players. The Hawks are not a great team yet but they are going to be much more fun to watch as early as this upcoming season. They are a long way away from the dynasty days but the future is bright.

Speaking of the dynasty days, Patrick Kane is still playing hockey. He is a member of the Detroit Red Wings but he still spends his summers in sweet home Chicago. On Wednesday, we learned that there is a large group of NHL players who skate with Kane in the summer.

One of those players is Frank Nazar, the young and promising Chicago Blackhawks prospect. He is using his summer wisely as he looks to become a full-time NHL player in 2024-25. If anyone knows how to do that, it’s Detroit’s number 88.

Hockey is starting to ramp up and this is the latest sign of it. Nazar has all of the talent in the world to be in the mix after a brilliant year with Michigan and his NHL debut last year. There’s a long way to go but he is looking like a big part of Chicago’s future.
