Blackhawks Daily: Celebrating NFL’s Return; Central Division
Sports fans in Chicago usually enjoy every team. Whenever the Chicago Blackhawks are in season, the other local teams in town are not shy about their support.
The Hawks subscribed to that philosophy on Sunday which was the first game day of the Chicago Bears 2024 season. After making a number one overall pick of their own, there is a lot of excitement surrounding that franchise.
The Blackhawks started their show of support with a social media post wishing them luck this season. It featured a picture of the Bears’ mascot Staley Da Bear with the Hawks’ mascot Tommy Hawk.
It didn’t stop there. Two Chicago Blackhawks players, Ilya Mikheyev and Tyler Bertuzzi, were in attendance. Both of them are new to town so this was a great way to get involved.
The return of the NFL season also means that the NHL is just around the corner. Soon enough, Bertuzzi and Mikheyev will join Connor Bedard and the rest of the team for training camp.
National Hockey Now has a lot of wonderful stories up right now to help get you ready for the season ahead. This includes a post on the Central Division and where the Blackhawks fit in.
