Blackhawks Daily: Preseason Opener, Broadcast Schedule, More
The Chicago Blackhawks have a hockey game tonight. After a week of practices and scrimmages, Chicago will finally be able to matchup against a different opponent when they take the ice against Detroit tonight.
For Blackhawks fans anxious to watch hockey, tonight’s game will be a big game. Here is the Blackhawks’ preseason broadcast schedule:

The Blackhawks will stream their first three preseason games via the Blackhawks app and website.
The preseason fell directly at the end of NBC Sports Chicago’s contract and just before Chicago Sports Network’s launch on Oct. 1. Chicago Sports Network has not reached a carriage agreement with Comcast as of yet. So far, the network’s main carrier is DIRECTV. In a statement on the network’s website, officials said Chicago Sports Network is currently negotiation with various other premium providers.

- The Blackhawks lineup heading into tonight’s game is filled with veterans. Some of the young players stand out as three players to keep an eye on – from Frank Nazar looking to make the roster to AJ Spellacy making a big impact throughout camp.
- Connor Bedard might only be entering his second NHL season, but the star forward in the making is already ranked amongst some of the best in EA Sports NHL 25.

- Teuvo Teravainen will play in tonight’s preseason opener. The 30-year-old is no stranger to the Blackhawks having won a Stanley Cup in Chicago. Still tonight will be Teravainen’s first game on a familiar team, with new faces.
