Blackhawks Game Day
Blackhawks at Blues: Lineup, How To Watch, Notes
The Chicago Blackhawks go into another preseason game tonight, looking to get in the win column. With a matchup in St. Louis, Chicago is sending a blend of veterans and prospects to faceoff against the Blues.
Blackhawks Roster:
Forwards:
Hall, Kurashev, Mikheyev, Savoie, Athanasiou, Maroon, Sanford, Guttman, Seney, Slaggert, Nazar and Dach
Defensemen:
Vlasic, Phillips, Korchinski, Allan, Del Mastro and Crevier
Goalie:
Petr Mrazek
Notes:
Petr Mrazek is expected to play the entire game tonight. That will be a big test for the Blackhawks goaltender – especially with the team hungry for its first win.
Players To Watch:
One player to keep an eye on tonight has to be Alex Vlasic. Vlasic did not have the best first game at the United Center on Wednesday. Now with a more inexperienced blue line how will he respond?
Another player to watch will be the Ilya Mikheyev in his first preseason game with Chicago. The Hawks actually have depth in the bottom six and Mikheyev is someone who could find a nice role for himself on the second or third line. Additionally, Frank Nazar and Kevin Korchinski will be playing once again tonight. How will they respond playing in back to back games? The Hawks definitely are giving each young player every opportunity to show something during the preseason.
Look Back:
Good news for the Blackhawks and Blues tonight – someone has to win. Both teams enter the exhibition game without a win, with the Blues being 0-3-0 and the Hawks being 0-2-0. St Louis most recently played on Wednesday in Columbus where they were shut out 3-0.

What to Look For In 75 Words Or Less:
Intensity. The Blackhawks didn’t have a good showing in St. Louis on Friday. Playing on the road, Detroit came out strong trying to impress a home crowd. The Hawks enter a similar situation tonight and hopefully they can answer accordingly.
