Blackhawks Game Day
Blackhawks vs Predators: Time, Streaming, Notes, Predictions
The Chicago Blackhawks and Nashville Predators are two teams that entered the 2024-25 NHL Regular Season with a lot of optimism. Now, nearing the end of October neither team has seen the success they were hoping for.
Tonight, the Blackhawks and Predators meet for the first time this season. With four matchups on the calendar for the season, the Hawks and Preds will see plenty more of one another later this season, but let’s start with an introduction.
The Nashville Predators (1-5-0) visit Chicago Blackhawks (2-4-1).
The Predators season didn’t get off on the right foot, dropping their first five games. On Tuesday the Preds did snap the losing skid, beating the Boston Bruins in shutout fashion at home 4-0.
Point Leader: Ryan O’Reilly (6)
Goal Leader: Tommy Novak (3)
Assist Leader: Roman Jos (5)
Hits: Jeremy Lauzon (34)
The Predators had the Blackhawks number last season, with Chicago getting just one point in a shootout loss at home.

Notes for the Blackhawks:
It looks like all is back to normal after a scratch for Philipp Kurashev. Kurashev retook his spot on the second line with Taylor Hall and Tyler Bertuzzi yesterday at practice.
Philipp Kurashev on Tuesday's healthy scratch: "I mean, how I can react, you know? Of course it's not the best news you can get, but it's just back to work, go to practice, show your best and get back in the lineup." #Blackhawks

It will be interesting to see how Kurashev responds after the scratch. The rumor mill is already stirring of news that the Blackhawks are looking for a second line center. Can Kurashev show the team already has one ready to take them to the next level?
Prediction for tonight’s Blackhawks game:
My predictions have not been great thus far. Tonight I am going to predict a Connor Bedard goal. Bedard has struggled to find the back of the net, but with as many scoring chances as he gets one is bound to go in.
