The Blackhawks are ten games into the 2024-25 NHL Regular Season. Starting the year 3-6-1 might not look great, but the Hawks have been in almost every game down to the final minutes.

On Tuesday, the Blackhawks announced the team recalled defenseman Isaak Phillips from the Rockford IceHogs. Phillips, 23, appeared in two games with Rockford during his latest stint with the IceHogs. Last year, Phillips played in 33 games with the Blackhawks, posting six assists.

Phillips has spent a lot of time traveling between Rockford and Chicago this season. In a pinch, Phillips can definitely get into the lineup and make an impact.

The big news of the night was in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, where Marc-Andre Fleury made his likely final start against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Minnesota Wild ended up winning 5-3, but it was a sight to see watching Pittsburgh’s crowd cheer on Fleury after the Penguins loss.
