The wait is finally over, well it will be tomorrow.

The Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) will launch a new subscription streaming service on Friday, Nov. 15, offering a direct-to-consumer streaming option for Chicago sports fans across the city.

CHSN announced the streaming service on Thursday, in a statement, CHSN President Jason Coyle said he is excited about this next step for the network.

“We are excited to offer Chicago sports fans a one-of-a-kind digital product enabling immediate access to live games and a complement of personalized, on-demand content,” said Coyle. “Today’s announcement is the next step in our long-term commitment to Chicago sports fans everywhere and is another new and compelling way for us to connect with them.”

Streaming packages will start at $19.99 per month for one team or $29.99 for full access to CHSN, including all Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox live games. CHSN will offer a seven day free trial of any package. CHSN said streams can be cast from the web or the app to a TV.

Chicago Sports Network partnered with ViewLift to create the streaming service. ViewLift has partnered with the Florida Panthers, Vegas Golden Knights and Washington Capitals to help bring a direct-to-consumer app to those markets. Additionally, the NHL partnered with ViewLift in 2023 to help relaunch the team’s TV App.

Services will launch Friday for the app, additionally subscribers will be able to use a web browser to watch games.

With the Hawks being 16 games into the season and with a game tonight this app cannot come soon enough. A lot of fans have not been able to watch games for the past few months due to the network failing to make a deal with Comcast, YouTube TV or Hulu.
