The Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks will faceoff for the second time this month tonight.

Connor Bedard’s last multipoint night came in Anaheim on Nov. 3 in a 4-2 win for Chicago. Since then, the Hawks have won just one game and Bedard has just one assist, going 1-4-0 during their last five games.

Tonight is a big matchup for Bedard and the Hawks, and for fans in attendance at the United Center this will also be a different looking lineup for Chicago.

Blackhawks expected lineup:

Bedard – Dickinson – Anderson
Hall – Donato – Mikheyev
Kurashev – Foligno – Teravainen
Bertuzzi – Reichel – Smith

Vlasic – Murphy
Allan – Martinez
Kaiser – Brodie

You might notice Connor Bedard in a new position relative to this season. Luke Richardson has opted to shift Bedard to the wing tonight, playing him with Dickinson and Anderson at practice.

This is an interesting looking lineup for Chicago. With the lineup split this heavily between four lines, someone should benefit from playing Anaheim’s weaker defenders. Maybe the Foligno line or the Reichel line will get on the board with some goals?

Anaheim Ducks Leaders:

Points: Troy Terry (12)
Goals: Troy Terry (6)
Assists: Terry, Gauthier, McTavish (6)
TOI: Pavel Mintyukov (20:46)
Shots: Frank Vatrano (52)

Predictions for tonight’s Blackhawks and Ducks matchup:

Tonight’s prediction is that Luke Richardson continues to juggle the lineup. Bedard should be getting shifts with more then just Dickinson and Anderson, expect to see him playing with Foligno and Teravainen and Hall and Donato as well.

Blackhawks to watch tonight:

Connor Bedard on the wing should be interesting to see, but the main player to watch tonight has to be Taylor Hall getting back in after a healthy scratch in Vancouver on Saturday.
