Blackhawks Game Day
Blackhawks Game 59: More Lineup Shuffling, Lines, Notes & How to Watch vs Golden Knights

Chicago Blackhawks (17-32-7, 41 pts) @ Vegas Golden Knights (34-18-6, 74 pts)
9 p.m. CT – T-Mobile Arena
TV: CHSN (Ball/Pang)
Radio: WGN 720 AM (Wiedeman/Murray)
The Chicago Blackhawks are in Sin City for the second of three meetings with the Vegas Golden Knights. They beat Vegas 5-3 on Jan. 18, with Tyler Bertuzzi scoring two goals and Seth Jones putting up a goal and three points.
Tonight is defenseman Alec Martinez’s first game back in Vegas since signing in Chicago. He played 221 games for the Golden Knights over five seasons and was part of the Stanley Cup championship team in 2023.
The Blackhawks are coming off one of their worst games of the season against the Utah Hockey Club. The 2-1 final score doesn’t look terrible, but a 93-39 discrepancy does. When you add the postgame comments from Seth Jones, Tuesday night might have been the lowest point in a season full of low points. If this team has any pride left, you will see a response tonight.

Interim head coach Anders Sorensen has switched up the lines once again. Ryan Donato will join Connor Bedard and Bertuzzi on the top line. Frank Nazar has been moved to the third line with Landon Slaggert and Colton Dach. Lukas Reichel will be a healthy scratch for the second straight game. On the back end, T.J. Brodie draws back in, with Nolan Allan coming out. I don’t get it anymore.
Petr Mrazek gets the start in net tonight. In eight career games against Vegas, he is 5-3-0 with a .911 save percentage (SV%) and 2.74 goals-against average (GAA).
