The Daily: Barkley Chuckles At Eichel Not Knowing Him
A great story from the Stanley Cup Final involves how hockey fan and basketball legend/TV analyst Charles Barkley was not even known by Vegas Golden Knights star Jack Eichel. Buffalo Hockey Now’s Mike Augello writes that Barkley recounted the story that he introduced himself and noted he was a big fan.
Eichel, in Barkley’s words, looked at him like “who the hell are you?”
Jack Eichel had no idea who Charles Barkley was. 😳

Barkley is a big hockey fan and any crossover opportunity for him to be on the TNT panel is always must watch TV.
Blackhawks In Case You Missed It
- The kudos gushing toward Connor Bedard should only excite Chicago fans more than they already are
- Blasphemous to some Blackhawks fans comparing Ilya Safonov to Detroit Red Wings great Pavel Datsyuk. But there are some comparisons there–and Chicago fans should be excited.
- The 2019 Draft saw Kirby Dach taken instead of defense. It was another miss that would be rectified by a trade in the latest Rebuild Report
