Blackhawks Daily: Beniers Clueing In the Bedard Contract; Flyers Drama!

The Chicago Blackhawks have a lot of great young talent in the organization. Not all of it will work out but there are a handful of guys worth planning around in every way. 



In addition to thinking about how things may look on the ice, it is fair to wonder what will happen regarding financials. Other teams around the NHL are already showcasing what might need to be done. 

On Tuesday, we learned that the Seattle Kraken extended Matty Beniers for seven years with a cap north of $7 million. The 2023 Calder Trophy winner is great but Connor Bedard is significantly better. If that’s what Beniers is getting, you can expect double digits for Bedard.
