The Daily: Domi Dominant for Dallas; Dubas Staying Put?

Published

on

Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Max Domi has been every bit of what the Dallas Stars hoped he would be. The Stars knocked the Seattle Kraken out of the playoffs last night with a 2-1 victory in Game 7. Domi had a great showing in the second round with two goals and six assists. He now has 11 points (3-8) in 13 playoff games so far.

Domi was traded to Dallas the night before the trade deadline for a 2025 second-round pick and Anton Khudobin. The deal was sealed on Domi’s birthday. It’s been quite the gift for both Domi and Dallas.

Dubas Says a Lot Without Saying Much

Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reports that the Maple Leafs aren’t going to play the role of judge, jury, and executioner when it comes to Kyle Dubas’ future in Toronto. If anything, as Pittsburgh Hockey Now reports they still very much want him in the fold. It’s just that PHN learned that. decision will be forthcoming and the Penguins should know soon whether he’s available or not. Money and preference appear to be the drivers, but that ultimately, it will be a process still.
