Chicago Blackhawks
The Daily: Hockey Hall of Fame Adds Some New Names
The Hockey Hall of Fame came calling for new names and some fans feel a few were forgotten. In go goalies Tom Barrasso, Mike Vernon, and Henrik Lundqvist. Builders Ken Hitchcock and Pierre Lacroix had their names called, too. Pierre Turgeon and Canadian four-time Olympic gold medalist Caroline Ouellette.
Quite the class indeed. Now, Rod Brind’Amour missed out and Alexander Mogilny was left off again. There’s arguments for other players, including one I watched for many years in Chris Osgood, who is probably one NHL individual award short of a call–despite 401 wins and two Stanley Cups as a starter.
Regardless of opinion, those in absolutely are deserving. Congratulations to them and their families for their hard work paying off.
