The Daily: Some NHL Free Agency Fun in August

Published

on

It’s not exactly like NHL free agency on July 1, but it’s still enough to take notice. Between Robert Mastrosimone signing with Toronto, and John Farinacci inking a deal with the Boston Bruins last week, it seems the Bruins might not be done.

According to Boston Hockey Now, the Bruins may be looking at Jay O’Brien, a player they were eying in the draft when he was on the board four years ago. NHL Free Agency may not be the same breakneck speed it was a month ago, but there are still some players out there that could be intriguing.

The Bruins might be adding another soon.

While the Blackhawks aren’t likely to add anything more, it’s still enough to keep an eye on as the August heat blasts this week.
