Blackhawks – Red Wings Preseason Game #4: Need to Know Info

Published

on

The Chicago Blackhawks  take on their rival Detroit Red Wings tonight at 7:30pm at the United Center. This follows the game Sunday night in Detroit where the Red Wings defeated the Blackhawks 6-1.

Tonight’s Blackhawks Roster Highlights

Bedard is in again tonight against the Red Wings, this time on home ice. It’s again another group of young defensemen with Alex Vlasic, Wyatt Kaiser, Kevin Kochinski, and Isaak Phillips set to patrol the blue line with Seth Jones and Connor Murphy. The forwards line certainly seems to be trending closer to one that would appear on opening night.

Alex DeBrincat will also not play against his former team tonight–meaning it won’t be until the regular season.

Blackhawks – Red Wings Look Back

It was only a couple days ago that the Blackhawks were beaten 6-1 by the Red Wings in Detroit. There wasn’t any Alex DeBrincat in Detroit’s lineup and Connor Bedard was held off the scoresheet, but he still wowed with one of his moves against Red Wings defensemen Simon Edvinsson.

Both teams will have a little more finality to their offerings tonight, but still having a number of players who will be fighting for the remaining roster spots.
