Miscellaneous Musings and Final Verdict

It’s another crack at the Blackhawks getting a second win in a row but they’ll have to do it without Kevin Korchinski, who was put on the non-roster list to be with his family. Isaak Phillips was recalled from Rockford and will fill in.

The Blackhawks have the chance to get elusive winning streak going, but they’ll likely need more than a goal tonight. In their last five games, the Blackhawks have scored a single goal four times, with Thursday’s game being the only one that resulted in a victory. Against Nashville, they potted three but fell in a shootout.

It’s been a collection of different players finding the back of the net, which includes Jason Dickinson, Ryan Donato, Nick Foligno, and Philipp Kurashev all contributing. They’ll clearly need a similar effort tonight as Chicago will try and keep those winning ways alive.
