Blackhawks Daily: Offensive Explosion, Hall Hat Trick, Rolston Trade
The Chicago Blackhawks did something they haven’t done yet this season, scored six goals in a single game. Last season, the Hawks registered just two games with six or more goals – both seven goal wins in March 2024.
Chicago’s offensive explosion could not have come at a better time for the team. Blackhawks fans have a glimmer of hope to be thankful for with Thanksgiving here, and the Hawks now can travel to Minnesota with a little more confidence to play the Wild.
The Hawks once again showed up to play against a tough opponent in Dallas. Chicago has had an interesting run recently. In the team’s last four games they have lost to the Anaheim Ducks and Philadelphia Flyers, two teams they should have competed against, while they beat the Florida Panthers and Dallas Stars.

Last night was the Blackhawks first home hat trick since Colin Blackwell last March. With the Hat Trick comes a reminder for fans — don’t wear your favorite hat to the stadium unless you are ready to part ways with it. It’s always fun watching fans debate about whether or not to throw the hat.
The Blackhawks announced a trade yesterday, sending Ryder Rolsten to the Nashville Predators in exchange for future considerations. Rolston had played in six games this season with the Rockford IceHogs and has not made his NHL debut.
