The draft order for the 2023 NHL Draft was released and the Chicago Blackhawks know exactly where they’ll be picking. On Friday the final order of picks, which includes all acquired selections, were released league wide.

Chicago Hockey Now will be there in Nashville with full coverage of the 2023 NHL Draft.

Red Wings and DeBrincat More Likely?

The Detroit Red Wings and Alex DeBrincat seem a logical pair for several reasons. The Michigan native would be coming home but as Detroit Hockey Now’s Bob Duff points out, the divisional setup of Ottawa trading to Detroit could be a snag in trade talks. Regardless, trade rumors are heating up that the Red Wings have the prospect pool to peddle some players to Ottawa for the 25-year-0ld sniper.

Will that be enough for Ottawa to overlook what could be a trade that haunts them in the future–should DeBrincat round back out into his 40-goal self?
