Blackhawks Daily: Colton Dach Hanging Around; Crosby Fisticuffs

Published

on

Bring on the regular season. Colton Dach continues to hang around, prompting discussion that maybe he’ll be a surprise addition to the roster come opening night. Other Blackhawks bubble players are fighting for their spot tonight against St. Louis. Sid the Kid is getting into donnybrooks with other kids on the ice.

I always marvel at how quickly things seem to go now. It felt like yesterday the site launched–now it’s five months past. Later, I felt like the trip to Nashville was finally around, and that was here and gone before I could even turn around. Now the preseason is a game away from wrapping up.

There’s still time to subscribe to CHN+–more exclusive subscriber stuff will begin once the regular season kicks off. Again, putting in Nate10 gets you $10 off from the normal $39.99 and brings it down to $29.99, or $2.50/month.

Blackhawks In Case You Missed It

  • The Blackhawks prospects are making their final case to stay on the roster. Colton Dach is one of them–perhaps a strong game against St. Louis makes the coaching staff really ponder whether a longer stay in Chicago is necessary
  • Here’s another one, too, about Kevin Korchinski. What else does he have to stay up? Or is he already penciled into the Blackhawks lineup–as I wrote about a month ago.
  • Connor Bedard is just fine. Seriously. Nothing to see here. The Blackhawks are still over the moon with their top overall pick.
