He had multiple points in the game but it was his first career goal that helped pace the the Minnesota Golden Gophers to victory. Oliver Moore scored his first collegiate goal in the Golden Gophers’ 4-0 win over North Dakota.

Teammate and fellow Blackhawks prospect Sam Rinzel had the primary assist on the goal, feeding Moore before he ripped a shot with Rinzel partially screening Fighting Hawks goalie Ludvig Persson. Moore would pick up the assist on the final goal for the Gophers, notching his second point of the night and his sixth point of the season in just three games (1-5).

Rinzel’s assist gives him three in as many games on the season. At Michigan, Frank Nazar didn’t add into the Wolverines 7-1 win over bitter rival Ohio State he’s still producing at a point-per-game pace with four points (3-1) in as many games.

Oh, and there was a big goal by another Big 10 Blackhawks prospect.

Blackhawks Prospect Slaggert Notches Game Winner for Notre Dame

In South Bend, 2020 third-round pick Landon Slaggert potted the game winner for the Fighting Irish who stunned Boston University 4-1. The only goal for the Terriers? None other than Blackhawks prospect Ryan Greene, who notched his first of the season.

Though he buried it a day before his birthday, it’s not really much of a present as the sixth ranked Terriers couldn’t find an answer for the upstart Irish. It was Slaggert’s third goal of the season while Greene now has his second point of the young season.

Outside of college hockey, Nick Lardis notched his sixth goal of the season on an empty netter while fellow OHL’er Martin Misiak snagged the first star of the game in Erie’s 5-3 win over the London Knights. Misiak buried the game winner and had a helper on the empty net goal, giving him six points (3-3) on the season.

Gavin Hayes added his second assist and fourth point of the season in Flint’s 5-3 win over Sudbury. After a brutal start to the season, the Firebirds won their second straight game.
