One has to wonder what it’s like to be analyzed to the nth degree, right down to something designed to help scouts and the front office. So goes the world of all the NHL prospects, including presumed Chicago Blackhawks top pick Connor Bedard.

From how he rode the stationary bike to the answers he gives, every pair of eyes is watching what Bedard says and does.

Generational players draw this kind of attention and the Blackhawks will be bringing in one who is drawing comparisons to Connor McDavid. This is only the beginning for Bedard, where once drafted, he’ll head to Chicago where he walks in as the most anticipated first overall pick since Derrick Rose for the Chicago Bulls in 2008.
