Get Geeked Blackhawks Fans-the Prospect Showcase Roster Will be Fun To Watch

Now it’s a lot more fun for the Chicago Blackhawks fans who are looking to track the younger players exected to lead the organization out of the rebuild. It features many of the 2023 picks, and includes many of those who had great seasons last year.

Envision the lines and the pairings all you want. But now it’s a bit more real as they’ll take the ice as a unit this weekend.

Bedard Headlines Blackhawks Prospects

The names are numerous but it’s certainly the more recent ones that stand out, especially from the 2023 Draft. But many of the prospects written about here at CHN will be skating, too, definitely ratcheting up the excitement of what Chicago has waiting in the pipeline. Whether its CHL Import #1 pick Martin Misiak or Nick Lardis, the kid who grew up worshipping Patrick Kane, the players to watch are aplenty.

Just as exciting as watching Sam Savoie throw his physical game around or seeing Colton Dach skating strong as he did with Allan in Seattle, the blue line is almost more intriguing.

What about the young defensenmen who could be duking out a spot in Chicago? Kevin Korchinski is still a favorite on my list to start the season with the Blackhawks. Right there with him should be Wyatt Kaiser, who is a quietly calm and smooth skater who is also known to jump up in the play.

How about Ethan Del Mastro? Perhaps one of the more underrated defensive prospects in the system, Del Mastro has a chance to make his presence known. His soon-to-be Rockford teammate Nolan Allan will also be present, seeking some more momentum after a great run in the WHL playoffs.

Of course, it’ll be Bedard attracting the majority of eyeballs–the opportunity to see the generational talent showcase what made him the most coveted prospect since likely Connor McDavid. But the beauty of the showcase will be seeing the rest of those Blackhawks prospects. A kid like Paul Ludwinski zipping down the ice, reminding Blackhawks fans of the speed he was drafted for.

Drew Commesso, manning the crease, gives a glimpse of the future potentially backstopping the organization.

The fun begins this week for sure. Imagine the exultation if they’re all skating together one day with the Blackhawks.
